Little Crickets was founded by Louise Ashman and Caroline O’Brien. The nursery was set up in Northwood Cricket Club in 2011 and then progressed to attaining its own purpose-built building from 2017.
Both Louise and Caroline have extensive child care knowledge and experience and met whilst gaining their NNEB Diploma in Childcare in 1990.
Louise extended her NNEB qualification by further graduating as a teacher and Caroline continued to progress in management in a number of different Early Years settings.
Shared Approach
Little Crickets Learning Centre became the result of both Louise and Caroline’s shared knowledge and understanding of the importance of providing quality child care.

Staff
All staff are experienced with working with children of all ages. Staff are first aid trained, have relevant qualifications and DBS checks. The staff are given opportunities to access training to support their personal development.
